Senior Applications Engineer (Digital Electronics)

About the role

Provide technical support for Synopsys EDA tools, helping customers debug digital design, RTL and verification issues, and ensuring successful tool deployment worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve customer issues in digital design, RTL and verification workflows.
• Reproduce problems, isolate root causes and deliver clear explanations and work‑arounds.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to escalate bugs, request enhancements and close feedback loops.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, support documentation and best‑practice guides.
• Assist with tool installation, configuration troubleshooting and onboarding activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2‑3 years of industry experience in digital design, verification, EDA tool usage or technical support.
• Strong understanding of digital electronics fundamentals and logic design principles.
• Ability to work with global teams across time zones and communicate technical details in English.
