SAP FICO Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated SAP FICO Consultant to configure, support and optimise SAP Finance and Controlling solutions. The role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FICO sub‑modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, New GL, Document Splitting and CO‑PA.
• Analyse and resolve production support issues within agreed service levels.
• Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications and support testing, UAT and deployment.
• Assist month‑end and year‑end financial closing activities.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers on custom reports, interfaces, forms and workflows.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support across multiple sub‑modules.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional specification, testing and deployment.
• Experience supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Accounting or related field; SAP FICO certification is a plus.
