Sales Specialist - Products

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Specialist focused on product‑based software offerings. In this fast‑paced, velocity‑driven role you will close licences, subscriptions and add‑on modules within weeks, not quarters. Success is measured by the amount, speed and consistency of revenue you generate.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly product revenue targets and consistently meet them.
• Drive short‑cycle opportunities from first contact to signed order, prioritising deals that will close this quarter.
• Prepare quotations, licensing options and commercial proposals quickly, delivering responses within hours.
• Negotiate pricing, licence terms and contract duration within approved margin guidelines.
• Maintain a full pipeline of qualified opportunities to avoid end‑of‑period scrambles.
• Build and manage a territory or account list, generating leads through calls, visits and referrals.
• Grow existing accounts via renewals, seat expansions, edition upgrades and cross‑sell of additional modules.
• Track subscription and licence expiry dates to secure renewals ahead of time.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners and internal finance/operations to ensure smooth order processing and invoicing.
• Keep accurate opportunity, forecast and activity records in the CRM and report on pipeline health.

Required profile

• 2+ years of proven sales experience in software, SaaS or related B2B technology.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience closing high‑volume, short‑cycle transactional deals.
• Working knowledge of software licensing and subscription models (perpetual, subscription, etc.).
