Sales Representative – Colombo

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a commercially driven Sales Representative to expand its presence in the Sri Lankan market. Based in Colombo, you will manage key trade and commercial accounts, uncover new revenue opportunities, and deliver sales activities that directly support commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective accounts, positioning Etihad as a trusted commercial partner.
• Develop and execute sales activities to achieve revenue targets, converting new business opportunities using market insights.
• Promote Etihad’s products, network and commercial propositions while negotiating agreements within guidelines.
• Monitor competitor and market activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Etihad in customer meetings and industry events, collaborating with regional and head‑office stakeholders.
• Support local commercial projects, new market initiatives and mentor junior sales team members when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant sales or commercial experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue or commercial targets.
• Strong account management and business development capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, priorities and internal stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.
• Existing work rights in Sri Lanka (no sponsorship or relocation provided).
