Sales & Marketing Manager (Education Sector)

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead student recruitment and enhance brand visibility for IMC Campus, a higher‑education institution in Colombo. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior management and focuses on driving enrollment through strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to attract prospective students.
• Manage promotional events, education fairs, school visits and information seminars, handling logistics and stakeholder engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents and institutional partners, follow up leads and guide applicants through the enrollment process.
• Analyse campaign performance, prepare regular sales and marketing reports, and coordinate with internal teams on content and collateral.
• Ensure all activities align with IMC Campus’ brand standards and student‑centric values.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education sector in a similar sales or marketing capacity.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed enrollment and revenue targets through effective lead generation and relationship management.
• Experience in developing marketing strategies, managing campaigns and positioning a brand within the education or services sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Recognised qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.

• Digital marketing activities such as social media, email marketing and online advertising with basic analytics.
• Event planning and coordination for education fairs and information sessions.
