Sales Manager – IT Solutions

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the IT sales team at Cyrus Information Technologies in Colombo, driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth across the company’s managed IT, networking, cybersecurity and cloud solutions. The role involves developing sales strategies, building strong client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction from pre‑sale to post‑sale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new customer acquisition and expand existing accounts.
• Create sales opportunities from leads generated by marketing channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects and dealers.
• Research new markets and identify customer needs.
• Meet potential clients to assess requirements and present solutions.
• Conduct regular field visits to secure orders and strengthen dealer partnerships.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices and related documentation.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from pre‑sales activities to post‑sales support, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in ICT sales, preferably in a managerial role.
• Proven sales management, team leadership and relationship‑building abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• Full or part qualification in CIM/SLIM or equivalent, with professional sales certifications.
• Ability to work long hours, negotiate effectively and close deals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM software.
