Sales Executives – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

Primebridge Talent Management is recruiting on behalf of a leading freight forwarding company in Colombo. We are looking for motivated Sales Executives at junior, mid and senior levels to drive business growth in the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers in the freight and logistics market.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, providing solution‑focused service.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and develop practical sales strategies for target segments.
• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and reporting using CRM and MS Office tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑3 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics or shipping.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills in English.
• Good understanding of international freight processes, documentation and Incoterms.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment with strong time‑management.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with basic CRM tools for lead and pipeline management.
