Sales Executive – Telephone-Based Sales Role

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join our growing team in Colombo. This is a telephone‑based, full‑time position focused on generating new business and converting enquiries into customers. You will engage with both individuals and businesses, understand their needs and present our products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential customers and businesses.
• Engage new and existing prospects, asking questions to uncover needs.
• Present and explain our product portfolio, services and opportunities.
• Build rapport, develop relationships and follow up on leads.
• Handle questions and objections confidently.
• Work towards individual sales targets and close deals.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes.

Required profile

• Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone.
• Friendly, outgoing and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Motivated by targets, commissions and results.
• Positive, resilient and eager to learn.
• Willing to develop sales techniques and skills.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, telesales or customer service is a plus.
