Sales Executive

About the role

Kernel Encode is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to promote and sell its software products and services. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales experience with excellent English and Sinhala communication skills to understand customer needs and present suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Kernel Encode software products and services to potential customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities through calls, messages, meetings, referrals, and online platforms.
• Explain software features, benefits, pricing, and value clearly to prospects.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and follow up leads to conversion.
• Coordinate with internal teams to stay updated on product changes and customer requirements.
• Maintain records of leads, follow‑ups, sales progress, and customer feedback.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and performance goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the software or IT sector.
• Fluency in English and Sinhala.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, confident, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to understand and explain software products.
