Sales Executive

About the role

Envio Global Logistics is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to drive new business and nurture existing client relationships within the freight forwarding sector. The role focuses on expanding the company's market presence in Colombo and delivering tailored logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new sales opportunities through visits, cold calling, networking and industry events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals customized to client needs.
• Conduct market research to spot trends, new opportunities and competitor activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to guarantee smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close deals while meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage.
