Sales Executive – Hotel Services

About the role

The Sales Executive for the CLIO Hotels chain is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Gampaha. The role focuses on generating new business, managing client relationships and promoting hotel services and packages.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the CLIO Hotels chain.
• Manage relationships with corporate and individual clients, conducting sales calls and visits.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate rates and contracts.
• Maintain accurate sales records and regular reporting.
• Coordinate with hotel operations and marketing teams to ensure high‑quality guest experiences.
• Participate in promotional campaigns, events and monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality or hotel sales or a similar customer‑facing commercial role.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively and achieve sales targets.
• Organizational and time‑management skills with accurate record‑keeping.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Gampaha and travel for client visits.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software such as email, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Familiarity with CRM systems or hotel reservation software.
