Sales Executive (Automotive)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our automotive showroom in Colombo. The role involves direct interaction with customers, both in‑person and through outbound activities, to understand their vehicle needs and guide them to the right purchase.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers in the showroom and via outbound outreach, assess their requirements and recommend suitable vehicles and services.
• Handle inquiries, conduct product demonstrations and arrange test drives.
• Prepare quotations, follow up leads and close sales while maintaining accurate records in the sales system.
• Coordinate with finance and service teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Support promotional events and contribute to achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company’s commitment to excellence.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills, active listening and problem‑solving.
• Good communication in English and local languages.
• Basic knowledge of automotive products and willingness to learn technical features.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office software for reporting.
• Prior experience in automotive or retail sales is an advantage.
• Valid driving licence and confidence to conduct test drives.
• Ability to work on‑site in Colombo, including weekends and extended hours.
• Reliability, integrity and a customer‑focused mindset.
