Sales Assistant

About the role

Guardian Solutions is looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join its Kandy office. This full‑time position works in a hybrid model, allowing you to split your time between the office and home. You will support the sales team by handling client inquiries, preparing quotations, and helping turn leads into satisfied customers.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare and send accurate quotations for web and IT solutions.
• Assist with lead follow‑ups to convert prospects into clients.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Update sales reports and related documentation regularly.
• Support customer‑service activities, including scheduling meetings or product demos.
• Contribute to basic sales and marketing tasks such as sharing product information and helping prepare presentations.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Foundational sales knowledge with a desire to learn advanced techniques.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time‑management abilities.
• Basic understanding of IT, web, or digital solutions.
• Reliability and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or administration is an advantage.
• A relevant diploma or degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
