About the role
The Sales Assistant Florist works full‑time on‑site at AptFil’s retail location in Ratnapura. You will help customers choose floral arrangements, provide product information and ensure a welcoming store experience. The role also involves supporting promotional activities and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and customizing floral arrangements.
- Prepare, organize and display flowers daily.
- Maintain inventory levels and update store displays.
- Handle sales transactions using point‑of‑sale systems.
- Coordinate orders and manage event bookings.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and service standards.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
- Effective communication and sales abilities.
- Solid organization skills for inventory and store displays.
- Interest in floristry with basic knowledge of flower types and care.
- Reliability, attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
