Sales and Product Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Product Specialist to lead our showroom team, drive sales growth, and act as the bridge between clients and our manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate loves interacting with people, has a keen eye for beautiful spaces, and can manage both front‑of‑house operations and back‑office coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain showroom appearance, safety, and daily operations.
• Welcome and assist clients, architects, and designers, guiding them through tile collections, custom patterns, and product maintenance.
• Handle phone and WhatsApp inquiries, providing prompt, knowledgeable responses.
• Prepare accurate quotations and invoices, track inquiries, and follow up on open quotes.
• Log customer payments, manage petty cash, and keep financial records up to date.
• Coordinate order lead times, sample production, and delivery schedules with the factory, keeping clients informed.
• Collaborate with in‑house designers to translate client briefs into final quotes.
• Support seasonal events such as exhibitions, workshops, and pop‑up sales.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in sales coordination, customer service, retail operations or front‑desk management.
• Fluent in English and Sinhala or Tamil, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Proactive liaison ability to keep factory and client aligned on deadlines.
• Client‑centric mindset with natural hospitality and active listening.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of juggling multiple quotes and delivery schedules.
