Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager will oversee a portfolio of SME clients, driving revenue and profit targets through effective relationship management and cross‑selling of banking solutions. The role involves regular client interaction, credit analysis, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients to achieve revenue, PBT, and asset‑growth targets.
• Conduct detailed credit analysis, prepare reports, and obtain approvals from credit authorities.
• Meet clients regularly, provide advisory services, and monitor portfolio performance.
• Renew facilities, collect financial documentation, and ensure timely post‑disbursement follow‑up.
• Maintain asset quality through monitoring, restructuring, and compliance with credit standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of banking or financial institution experience with hands‑on credit exposure.
• At least 4 years in a managerial role as Relationship Manager or Credit Manager.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA).
