Quantity Surveyor – MEP

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Quantity Surveyor – MEP to join our team in the Gampaha District. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing cost estimates and Bills of Quantities for mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, ensuring they align with project specifications and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and update cost estimates and BOQs for MEP works.
• Monitor project costs, track variations and maintain cost plans.
• Produce regular cost reports for management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to validate quantities and negotiate prices.
• Evaluate contractor claims and support tender preparation and evaluation.
• Maintain accurate cost records and contribute to cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Experience in quantity surveying for MEP systems in building or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for on‑site collaboration.

• Cost planning and periodic cost reporting.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying and construction software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
