About the role
The Quantity Surveyor will manage project costs from initial estimates through to final accounts, ensuring value for money and adherence to budget. You will work on‑site in Nugegoda, collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and evaluate tender submissions.
- Monitor project costs, prepare interim payment applications and support contract administration.
- Conduct regular site visits for measurement, valuation and cost reporting.
- Assist with risk assessment, variation claims and cash‑flow forecasting.
- Oversee project billing, variations, cost control and financial tracking.
- Handle correspondence with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Coordinate between head office, site teams and management to ensure smooth progress.
Required profile
- HND/NCT in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office packages.
