Quantity Surveyor – Construction & Renovation Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support Medihelp Hospitals in planning, monitoring, and controlling costs for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects across hospital facilities. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Colombo, requiring regular presence at project locations and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction and healthcare projects.
• Conduct cost estimates, cost planning and track project expenditure.
• Compile accurate cost reports for management and ensure projects stay within budget, timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare payment certificates and manage variations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (HND, NDQS, NCT) in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, preferably interior and civil works.
• Experience in healthcare, hospital or commercial construction projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• BOQ preparation, measurement and verification.
• Cost planning and cost reporting.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard quantity surveying software.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
