Quantity Surveyor – Building Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conduct cost estimates and monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities and cost estimates.
• Track expenditures, prepare cost reports and support cost planning activities.
• Advise project teams on cost‑effective solutions and ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and external stakeholders to guarantee accurate measurement and valuation of work.
• Contribute to risk assessments, assist in tender evaluations and support continuous improvement of cost‑management processes.
• Ensure timely progress payment certification and monitor project budget forecasts.

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 10 years experience in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting and contract administration.
• Experience in progress payment certification and cost control.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QS‑related software.
