About the role
QIMA is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its Operations team and conduct on‑site inspections of garment and softline products for global brands. The role reports to the Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager and ensures inspections meet QIMA’s high standards of quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Check email daily to receive inspection documents and schedules.
- Attend inspections on time and communicate professionally with suppliers.
- Perform merchandise inspections according to company procedures.
- Supervise container stuffing to ensure compliance with standards.
- Complete inspection reports within required timelines.
Required profile
- College degree or higher in apparel or a related field.
- More than 3 years of experience in quality management for garment/textile products.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to detail and professional ethics.
- Willingness to relocate to Colombo and ability to start within a month.
Required skills
- Knowledge of AQL standards and relevant safety and quality regulations.
