Quality Assurance Executive – GI Manufacturing Plant

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to support quality operations at its Galvanized Iron (GI) manufacturing plant. The role involves monitoring quality standards across raw materials, production processes and finished products, and collaborating closely with production and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor quality standards for raw materials, processes and finished goods.
• Conduct regular inspections, testing and process checks.
• Identify quality issues, investigate root causes and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, checklists and documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure QMS documentation is up‑to‑date.
• Track quality KPIs and report trends to management.
• Work with Production, Engineering and other teams to resolve quality‑related problems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Materials/Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in steel, metal or GI production.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently or within cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO standards.
• Experience with Quality Management System (QMS).
• Proficiency in the 7 QC Tools.
• Understanding of CAPA processes.
• Root Cause Analysis techniques.
