Purchasing Agent

About the role

As a Purchasing Agent within Hilton’s hotel operations, you will ensure that all goods and services are sourced efficiently, accurately, and in line with the brand’s high standards of hospitality. Your work supports the seamless experience of guests by maintaining reliable supply chains and inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist procurement operations by researching prices, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Receive and verify deliveries, matching items against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications.
• Process requisitions, issue items to departments, monitor stock levels, and alert supervisors of low or out‑of‑stock items.
• Handle invoice processing, verify accuracy, scan documents, and follow up on discrepancies to guarantee timely payment.
• Conduct routine inventory counts, enter received merchandise into tracking systems, and report shortages or variances.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of hospitality operations and supply‑chain processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to ethical standards, transparency, and compliance in all procurement activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software and related systems.
• Experience using inventory tracking tools.
