Purchase Executive

About the role

As a Purchase Executive you will support the procurement and inventory processes for finished goods and packaging materials at Freudenberg's Nugegoda site. You will work closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage material disposition activities with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Execute and follow‑up purchase orders from creation to completion.
• Purchase finished goods and packaging materials for merchandise operations.
• Review and approve supplier invoices, validating quantities and prices.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock redistribution across EU warehouses.
• Post goods receipt and issue transactions in SAP for warehouse and direct delivery operations.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions and perform stock reconciliation.
• Handle order‑based purchasing and direct delivery involving intercompany entities and third parties.
• Coordinate triangular shipments and validate related supplier invoices.
• Organise physical inventory activities with subcontractors and support SAP inventory booking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing and inventory management.
• Strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP HANA (inventory posting and reconciliation).
