Public Relations Officer – Front Desk Reception

About the role

The Public Relations Officer (Front Desk Reception) will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients at ACBT in Colombo. This junior, full‑time position combines customer‑facing duties with administrative support to help maintain a professional and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage incoming telephone calls and route them to the appropriate departments.
• Respond to customer inquiries, providing accurate information.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Perform data‑entry tasks and keep records up to date.
• Support administrative activities and assist team members as needed.
• Handle all interactions with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Assist in coordinating meetings and events when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer‑service or administrative role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to manage inquiries efficiently.
