Project Manager – Managed Services and IT Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead managed services and IT infrastructure engagements for a global client. The role covers the full lifecycle from tender and transition through go‑live and steady‑state delivery, ensuring service quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead managed services engagements from tender and requirements through transition, go‑live, and steady‑state operations.
• Manage service take‑ons and transitions across service desk, server platforms, network, and security services.
• Oversee BAU projects and service improvements, maintaining delivery, SLAs, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors to ensure on‑time, in‑scope, and in‑budget delivery.
• Develop detailed transition plans, schedules, and budget estimates for rollouts.
• Manage risks, issues, and change requests across scope, schedule, and cost.
• Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, service partners, and vendors.
• Run governance forums and service reviews, reporting status, SLA/KPI performance, and escalations.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation across concurrent engagements.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and governance reporting.
• Coordinate dependencies with adjacent software and automation workstreams and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in managed services, service desk, or infrastructure engagements.
• Proven ability to manage engagements from tender through transition, go‑live, and early‑life support.
• Strong project planning, budgeting, and resource management skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices, including service transition, change, and incident/problem management.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field (preferred).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification (preferred).
