Project Manager – COO Transformation Office

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to support the Chief Operating Officer’s Transformation Office. Based in Colombo, you will coordinate cross‑functional initiatives that drive operational efficiency across Global Operations, Stations, and Product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategic initiatives into structured, trackable project plans with clear ownership, milestones and deliverables.
• Support project governance by tracking action items, decisions and follow‑ups from COO‑led meetings.
• Develop and maintain timelines, milestone trackers and planning calendars for all transformation projects.
• Gather status updates from project owners, coordinate cross‑functional planning meetings and keep project calendars current.
• Monitor risks, delays and dependencies, escalating issues as needed and maintaining a central risk‑and‑issue log.
• Validate reported progress with stakeholders, identify blockers early and prepare dashboards and status reports.
• Create and maintain a central project tracker covering status, ownership, timelines, milestones and key risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience or internship exposure in project coordination, corporate planning or financial analysis.
• Professional certification in progress (e.g., PMP, SCM/Logistics) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, research and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
