About the role

SM Records Ltd is seeking a Project Lead to manage end‑to‑end initiatives in digital music distribution, rights management, and content monetisation. Based in Colombo, the position follows a hybrid work model, combining on‑site collaboration with remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, timelines, and resources for digital music services.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across operations, technology, and client‑facing functions.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Document processes, improve workflows, and provide insights to enhance service quality.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a digital, media, or technology environment.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities with competence in data tracking and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, balancing on‑site and remote work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Media, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
