Process Associate - Finance & Accounting (R2R)

About the role

Join Infomate’s Record‑to‑Report (R2R) team and support global finance operations, ensuring financial accuracy, high‑quality reporting and efficient processes. You will work onsite at our Colombo office, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and account‑clearing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Support month‑end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Analyze financial data, investigate variances and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies.
• Work with stakeholders to drive continuous process improvements and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Record‑to‑Report, General Ledger or Financial Reporting.
• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Partial or full qualification in CA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, AAT, CPA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
• Flexibility to work on a roster basis, including up to two weekend days per month.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency).
• Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems.
