Pricing Executive – Air & Sea Freight

About the role

Grit Global Middle East is seeking an experienced, energetic and target‑oriented Pricing Executive to join its expanding back‑office team in Sri Lanka. The role focuses on negotiating competitive air and sea freight rates and supporting the sales team with pricing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate air and sea freight rates with airlines, shipping lines, NVOCCs and overseas agents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with overseas agents, carriers and service providers.
• Provide pricing support to the sales team and assist in converting business opportunities.
• Handle pricing enquiries, volume shipments, special rates and customer‑specific requirements.
• Monitor market rates, competitor pricing and carrier trends to keep the company competitive.
• Maintain accurate pricing records, rate sheets and quotations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping or courier industry.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight pricing and rate negotiation.
• Good understanding of international trade lanes, routes and logistics solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and coordinate with sales, operations and management.
