Pre‑Sales Engineer – Data Center

About the role

NCINGA is looking for an experienced Pre‑Sales Engineer to join its solution architecture team. You will design and validate data‑center, hyper‑converged, storage, backup, virtualization and hybrid‑cloud solutions for enterprise clients in banking, telecom, manufacturing and government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical solution design across multi‑vendor OEM stacks (Red Hat OpenShift, VMware/Broadcom, Nutanix, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, IBM, Cisco, etc.).
• Prepare and validate BOQs/BOMs against RFP specifications, flagging mismatches and compliance gaps.
• Develop RFP/RFQ compliance matrices and respond to technical clarifications.
• Produce high‑level solution diagrams, technical proposal documents and statements of work.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to translate infrastructure requirements into well‑architected proposals.
• Liaise with OEMs and distributors to secure pricing, licensing and technical validation.
• Support sizing and capacity planning for compute, storage and GPU‑based AI/ML workloads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data‑center pre‑sales, solution architecture or infrastructure consulting.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with sales, delivery and vendor teams.
