Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert – AI Data Annotation (Remote)

About the role

This hourly, remote contractor position involves working as a Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review and generate AI‑generated medication and pharmacy content. You will evaluate clinical reasoning, ensure safety and accuracy, and provide detailed written feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard pharmacy responses across therapeutics, drug information, counseling, and medication safety.
• Evaluate, rank, and compare AI‑generated responses to enhance safety, clinical correctness, clarity, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe recommendations, and bias; validate reliability across diverse patient populations.
• Fact‑check drug information, identify dosing errors, contraindications, interactions, and provide clear patient‑focused explanations.

Required profile

• PharmD or BPharm/MPharm with active pharmacist licensure (or eligibility) and at least 5 years of professional pharmacy experience.
• Strong grounding in pharmacology, therapeutics, medication safety, and pharmacotherapy reasoning.
• Excellent attention to detail, C1‑level English proficiency, and ability to work independently in a remote, hourly contractor workflow.
• Previous experience with AI data training/annotation, medication‑use evaluation, drug information, or healthcare editorial QA is strongly preferred.
