About the role
The institution is looking for an experienced Patisserie Lecturer to join its culinary team. In this role you will design and deliver both theoretical lectures and practical demonstrations, guiding students through the fundamentals and advanced techniques of pastry and bakery.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and hands‑on practical sessions in line with the approved curriculum.
- Provide mentorship, guidance and constructive feedback to students.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, practical tests and examinations.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a professional pastry chef or patisserie expert.
- Relevant qualifications in pastry & bakery, culinary arts or a related field.
- Certificate IV TAE40122 is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard office software.
