Pastry Chef – Join Our Bakery Team

About the role

We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our bakery team and create a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts while upholding the highest standards of quality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, cookies, and desserts daily.
• Create new dessert recipes and seasonal menu items.
• Decorate and present desserts with care and creativity.
• Manage ingredient stock, ordering, and reduce waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen following food hygiene standards.
• Train and support junior kitchen staff.
• Work closely with the Head Chef.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker.
• Diploma or certificate in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen and meet deadlines.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays when needed.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of baking techniques.
• Expertise in chocolate work.
• Proficiency in cake decoration.
