Part-Time Chemistry Teacher (IGCSE & A/L)

About the role

Jade Tuition Center is seeking a dedicated Part‑Time Chemistry Teacher to join our team, specializing in Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE and A/L Chemistry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to inspire students, develop their understanding of Chemistry, and be part of a supportive, academically driven tuition centre.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry for Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE and A/L students according to the assigned schedule.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans aligned with the relevant curricula.
• Explain chemical concepts, theories, equations and practical applications clearly.
• Conduct practical and laboratory‑based sessions where required.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Support examination preparation, past papers and exam techniques.
• Develop students' analytical, problem‑solving and scientific thinking skills.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Required profile

• A degree in Chemistry, Physical Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with IGCSE and A/L students.
• Relevant teaching certification or proven experience with Cambridge and/or Edexcel curricula.
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and practical applications.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to teach on weekdays between 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

• Laboratory techniques for chemistry practicals.
• Curriculum development for Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE/A Level Chemistry.
