Order to Cash Accountant

About the role

The Order to Cash Accountant will join IFS’s Sri Lanka OTC team, supporting global billing for recurring revenue. You will manage the full maintenance contract lifecycle within the company’s bespoke ERP system, ensuring accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain customer maintenance contracts and recurring revenue invoices.
• Perform subscription calculation quality assurance and generate invoices for license, cloud and maintenance products.
• Execute revenue and direct‑cost accruals, including partner commissions.
• Conduct variance analysis for all recurring revenue streams.
• Provide ad‑hoc, monthly and annual reporting and KPI dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
• Support accounts receivable, cash collection and assist with account reconciliations.

Required profile

• 3 + years of accounting experience with a focus on order‑to‑cash and revenue recognition.
• Proven knowledge of ERP systems, preferably IFS Applications.
• Commercial education or equivalent qualification, ideally within the IT/software sector.
• Strong analytical mindset, organized and results‑oriented.
