Order to Cash Accountant – Global Billing Team

About the role

IFS is seeking an Order to Cash Accountant to join its Sri Lanka Order‑to‑Cash team. You will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end billing process for recurring revenue products and ensuring accurate contract administration across a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain customer maintenance contracts in the company’s bespoke ERP system.
• Generate invoices for license, cloud, maintenance and other recurring‑revenue items.
• Perform subscription calculation quality checks and ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Handle revenue and direct‑cost accruals, including partner commissions.
• Conduct variance analysis for all recurring‑revenue streams.
• Manage accounts receivable, perform account reconciliations and support ad‑hoc reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in order‑to‑cash processes, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a matrixed, cross‑functional team.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for contract and billing management.
• Knowledge of invoicing, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Understanding of accounts receivable and reconciliation processes.
