About the role

Global Marine Services is seeking qualified Officers to serve as Seamen on various vessel types. The role involves maintaining safe navigation, supervising deck operations, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform watchkeeping duties and monitor vessel navigation systems.
• Supervise deck crew during cargo handling, mooring, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct safety drills and ensure emergency equipment is operational.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation required by flag state and company policies.
• Collaborate with the ship’s captain and engineering team to optimize vessel performance.

Required profile

• Valid seafarer certifications appropriate for officer rank.
• Experience on board commercial vessels of any type.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adhere to strict safety standards.
• Good physical fitness and ability to handle demanding sea conditions.
