Nurse Assistant (NVQ Level 4 Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Assistant to support our nursing team in delivering safe and high‑quality patient care. The role involves assisting patients with daily activities, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring a comfortable environment in line with hospital policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nurses with basic patient care and daily living activities such as hygiene, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning under nursing supervision.
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' condition, behavior, or wellbeing to the responsible nurse.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of patient care areas.
• Handle and maintain patient‑care equipment and assist with intra‑hospital patient transportation.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices at all times.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and professional conduct requirements.
• Uphold patient privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and respect.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Nursing In‑Charge or supervisor.

Required profile

• Successfully completed a Nurse Assistant course from a recognized institution.
• Valid NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent certificate.
• 0–2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage; fresh graduates meeting the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
