About the role

Provide safe, compassionate, and effective basic patient care while supporting nursing staff to maintain high standards of comfort, hygiene and safety in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

Assist nurses with basic patient care and daily needs such as hygiene, grooming, feeding and mobility.
Help with transferring and positioning patients safely as directed.
Monitor and report any changes in patients’ condition, behaviour or wellbeing to the responsible nurse.
Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of patient care areas and handle equipment appropriately.
Support infection prevention and control practices and comply with hospital policies.
Assist with patient transportation within the hospital and prepare clinical environments.

Required profile

Successfully completed a Nurse Assistant Course from a recognized institution.
Valid NVQ Level 4 qualification/certificate relevant to the position.
0–2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare environment (advantageous).
Fresh candidates meeting the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
