Migration Documentation Specialist

About the role

The Migration Documentation Specialist will work on‑site in Colombo, supporting Try Migration’s immigration consultants by preparing and managing client documentation for Australian visa applications. This full‑time position ensures that all paperwork complies with Australian immigration standards and company quality guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and organize client information and supporting documents.
• Prepare, review, and update migration‑related forms and templates.
• Collaborate with consultants to translate case requirements into accurate documentation.
• Track document status, deadlines, and maintain detailed records in internal systems.
• Communicate with clients to resolve missing or inconsistent information.
• Support compliance checks and contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in documentation management, especially for immigration or legal cases.
• Experience with technical or clinical documentation frameworks where precision is critical.
• Analytical ability to interpret immigration guidelines and identify documentation gaps.
• Excellent attention to detail, time‑management, and organizational skills in a high‑volume environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Colombo and collaborate with cross‑border teams.
• Prior experience in immigration, legal, compliance, or administrative roles is highly beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Law, International Relations, Administration, or a related field preferred.
