About the role
The MEP Store Assistant supports store operations for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials. The role includes receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records while coordinating with project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying MEP materials delivered to the store.
- Maintain proper storage and labeling of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requisitions.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and inventory audits.
- Ensure safe handling and storage to avoid damage or loss.
- Support the storekeeper in maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Required profile
- Fully or partially qualified in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3‑6 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in the construction sector is required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Knowledge of QB (QuickBooks) and SAP systems (advantage).
- Computer literacy is essential.
