MEAL Coordinator – Mihikatha Lanka Project

About the role
World Vision is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Coordinator to lead the MEAL system for the Mihikatha Lanka Project in the Welikanda and Rideemaliyadda districts of Sri Lanka. The role will support the MEAL Manager and MEAL Advisor in delivering high‑quality evidence for project management, donor reporting and organizational learning.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of the project MEAL plan in line with donor and World Vision standards.
- Develop monitoring frameworks, indicator tracking tables and reporting systems.
- Design and adapt Kobo questionnaires, digital databases and other data‑collection tools.
- Translate data‑collection tools and ensure they are context‑appropriate.
- Manage the Community Feedback and Response Mechanism, documenting and resolving complaints.
- Provide capacity‑building support to project staff and partners on MEAL processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Town Planning or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in monitoring, evaluation or data collection.
- Fluent in English and Sinhala; Tamil is an advantage.
Required skills
- KoboToolbox questionnaire design and digital data management.
