Marketing Manager – BFSI

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive growth in the BFSI sector in Colombo. The role focuses on event marketing, partnership development, community engagement, and data‑driven decision making to support student recruitment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end event marketing funnel, from awareness to post‑event engagement, and optimise conversion rates.
• Design and execute reminder calls, WhatsApp nudges and follow‑ups in coordination with counsellors and branch teams.
• Identify, build and manage strategic partnerships with colleges, coaching centres, universities, campus societies and local influencers to increase brand awareness.
• Create local market activation initiatives, gather market intelligence and competitor insights to shape regional marketing strategies.
• Manage social media channels as active student communities, drive conversations, and collaborate with creators and influencers to amplify reach.
• Monitor marketing funnel performance, analyse event and community metrics, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for regional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketing, community building, partnerships, events or growth marketing with measurable outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to independently develop partnerships and execute field‑level marketing activities.
• Experience managing social media communities, local pages or creator networks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
