Marketing Manager – Automotive Industry

About the role

Abans Auto is one of Sri Lanka's fastest‑growing automotive companies, the exclusive distributor of HERO motorcycles, YADEA electric two‑wheelers and Hyundai passenger vehicles. The company seeks a Marketing Manager to shape brand positioning, drive digital initiatives and support new product launches across its island‑wide network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning and market share.
• Lead advertising, branding, digital marketing and promotional activities.
• Drive SEO/SEM, Google Ads, web analytics and performance‑based campaigns.
• Plan and execute new product launches, campaigns, events and sponsorships.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, product and dealer network teams to align strategies with business objectives.
• Oversee brand communications to ensure consistency across all channels.
• Manage and optimise the marketing budget for maximum ROI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field (post‑graduate qualification is a plus).
• 8–10 years of experience in sales & marketing, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience in the automotive industry or OEM environment.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage both high‑level strategy and operational execution.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CRM systems.
• Dealer Management Systems (DMS) knowledge.
