Marketing & Branding Specialist

About the role

Our client, a leading global consumer technology platform, is looking for a Marketing & Branding Specialist to drive brand‑building and growth initiatives across Sri Lanka. You will combine brand strategy, go‑to‑market planning, social media marketing, on‑ground activations and performance measurement to expand the brand’s reach.

Key responsibilities

• Lead local brand campaigns, sponsorships, partnerships and seasonal initiatives while adapting global brand guidelines to the Sri Lankan market.
• Plan and execute BTL activities such as city launches, sampling, sponsorships and community activations to increase consumer awareness in Colombo suburbs and under‑penetrated cities.
• Manage vendors, agencies and suppliers, negotiating costs, timelines and service agreements, and oversee budgets, purchase orders and invoices.
• Monitor channel and geographic performance through dashboards, provide data‑backed recommendations and ensure transparent marketing spend tracking.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in brand, trade/BTL or growth marketing.
• Hands‑on experience delivering on‑ground activations (city launches, sampling, sponsorships, community marketing).
• Proven ability to work with data, read dashboards and make budget or investment decisions based on evidence.
• Strong ownership, organization and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a resource‑constrained environment.

Required skills

• Social media marketing, including content strategy, influencer partnerships and community management.
• Vendor and supplier management, including cost negotiation and contract administration.
• Performance measurement and data analysis to evaluate campaign impact.
