Managing Consultant – Services Business Development (Sri Lanka & Maldives)

About the role

Mastercard Services is seeking a Managing Consultant to drive services business development across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. You will engage senior‑level clients, shape service proposals, and lead the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with country account teams and internal stakeholders to assess client needs and craft service proposals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and lead pitch meetings, both virtual and face‑to‑face.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, ensuring contracts are signed and projects are handed over smoothly.
• Oversee project delivery, participating in key meetings to guarantee successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with senior executives in the Sri Lanka and Maldives markets.
• Provide regular sales and revenue updates to leadership.

Required profile

• Consulting experience at a top‑rated firm or payments/cards experience with a bank or merchant.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior‑level decision makers.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a results‑driven, hunting attitude.
• Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or other postgraduate degree from a leading university preferred.
