Manager - Transactional Banking

About the role

The Manager – Transactional Banking will oversee a portfolio of corporate banking clients, acting as the primary relationship point to drive revenue and cross‑sell opportunities. The role focuses on expanding the client base, ensuring high service standards and maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of transactional banking clients within Corporate Banking, acting as the main contact point.
• Achieve performance targets by deploying innovative relationship‑management strategies and cross‑selling bank products.
• Expand the customer portfolio through sales strategies and regular client meetings to increase share of wallet.
• Ensure operational efficiency, compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Proactively manage portfolio risks and work closely with internal business partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the financial/banking sector, including at least 2 years as a Deputy Manager.
• Degree or banking qualification (DABF) and a professional qualification such as CIMA, CIM, ACCA or ACA.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of trade financing, treasury and liability products.
