Manager - Threat Analysis and Forensic Investigations

About the role

The Manager – Threat Analysis and Forensic Investigations provides strategic leadership to protect the bank’s information and cyber assets. The role drives threat analysis, oversees forensic investigations and ensures robust defence against emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee bank‑wide threat analysis and proactive threat‑hunting activities aligned with the annual Information Security Plan.
• Identify emerging cyber threats and coordinate timely remediation with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide security advisory input during system design, application development and infrastructure changes.
• Oversee implementation and effectiveness of technical, preventive and detective security controls.
• Support internal and external audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Maintain and enhance the forensic and security lab environment.
• Evaluate new security technologies and ensure renewal of threat‑hunting and forensic tools.
• Prepare and present periodic threat analysis, forensic investigation, KPI/KRI and risk reports to senior management.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of threat hunters and forensic analysts.

Required profile

• Professional certifications in at least two security disciplines (e.g., CHFI, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, PenTest+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GISPA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in threat hunting, digital forensics and incident response in the banking sector.
• 3 + years of managerial experience leading threat‑hunting and forensic investigation teams.
