About the role

This high‑impact, first‑line position sits at the heart of LSEG’s Technology and Cyber control improvement agenda. You will own and evolve the central governance framework for Self‑Identified Issues, internal audit findings and external audit findings, driving remediation across Engineering and Cyber Security functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain governance and challenge capability for SIIs, internal and external audit findings.
• Lead remediation actions, ensuring they are sustainable and closed only when evidence confirms the intended outcome.
• Move the function beyond simple status tracking by applying professional scepticism, root‑cause analysis and portfolio insight.
• Articulate weaknesses clearly and provide actionable recommendations to senior Technology and Cyber leaders.
• Engage with auditors and risk‑governance forums, presenting insights and progress updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology risk, cyber security governance or audit remediation within a large, regulated organisation.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to perform deep root‑cause investigations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and auditors.
• Professional scepticism and a results‑oriented approach to driving change.
